Photodiode

Simple illuminated diode model: I(V) = -I_ph + I_s (e^{V/V_T} - 1).

Notes

  • Photocurrent is proportional to irradiance and area via responsivity.
  • Dark saturation current follows the same teaching-simple form as PN junction.
